aiRemover is free to use and doesn't require an account. Here's exactly what we keep track of.

What we store

We set an anonymous, random cookie in your browser so we can enforce a daily free-word limit per visitor. That cookie isn't tied to your name, email, or any other identifying information — it's just a random id paired with a running word count for the current day, stored temporarily in our database.

What we don't store

We don't save the text you paste or upload, and we don't save the rewritten output or the AI-detection scores. Your text is sent to our AI provider to generate the rewrite and the likelihood score, and is not retained by us afterward.

Third parties

Text you submit is processed by our AI model provider (via the Vercel AI Gateway) to generate your rewrite and to estimate its AI-detection likelihood score. Uploaded files are processed on our servers to extract text and are not persisted afterward.
